When the hour of surgery arrives, guide the hands, eyes, and judgment of every doctor and nurse in that operating room. Protect this mother from infection, pain, and complication. Carry her safely through the procedure and bring her back to her own bed, mended and whole. Give her body the strength to heal day by day, and give her family calm hearts as they tend to her needs. We place her life and recovery into your gentle keeping, trusting your mercy. In the name of Jesus, our Great Physician.
