Lord Jesus, Divine Physician, we bring you this beloved sister who is undergoing chemotherapy. Bless the medicine entering her body. Let it seek out the sickness and leave her healthy marrow and flesh intact. We ask Saint Peregrine, who bore cancer in his own flesh, to stand by her chair during the long infusions and pray for her relief. Holy Mother Mary, wrap your mantle around her when nausea and weakness take her breath away. Restore her appetite, give her deep rest, and rebuild her physical strength step by step. Give peace to the one who loves her and watches over her with such care. Keep hope alive under their roof, and grant them both your grace in each hard hour. In your holy name we pray.
