Prayers for a new job

First prayer

Heavenly Father, we bring Marcus to you today with this hope for work. The interview on Thursday is finished, and now Marcus waits for the word. Grant favor with the people who make this choice. Let them remember Marcus with clarity, seeing the honest effort and skill brought into the room. Still the restless thoughts that rehash every answer given. If this position is good for Marcus, open the way and bring an offer. If another path is set, guard Marcus from bitter disappointment and keep hope alive for the next door. Give rest to Marcus while the decision is weighed, and grant deep peace through each hour of waiting. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Adonai, Provider of all life, who opens your hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing, hear this plea for parnassah. We bring before you a home where rent weighs heavy upon the heart. Bless this husband with honest work. Grant favor to his steps as he searches, and put him in the path of employers who see his worth and need his skills. Lift the dread of the first of the month from their shoulders. In these days of waiting, keep bitterness far from their door. Let their home remain full of peace, affection, and mutual care, knowing their bread is not forgotten. Sustain their bodies, ease their strain, and grant them relief soon through your mercy.

Spirit of life and source of all good things, hear this seeker who wants honest work. Guide their steps toward a workplace that knows their worth and pays them fairly for their labor. Let them find leaders who listen, colleagues who offer mutual respect, and tasks that do not wear away their dignity. On days when applications go unanswered, renew their patience and keep their spirits clear. Guard them from settling for less than what is just, and remind them that their value is real, whether hired yet or still waiting. Bring the right offer to their hands, with fair compensation and peace of mind.

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions. O Allah, You are Ar-Razzaq, the Provider, and Al-Fattah, the Opener of all closed doors. Look upon my brother, who has searched for months with honest intent. Open a lawful way for him to provide for his family without shame or fear. Bless his hands with good labor and ease this heavy burden from his chest. Rabbi yassir wa la tu'assir, my Lord, make this easy and do not make it difficult. Grant him patience while he waits, and let an answer come that brings relief to his home. May peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad and upon his family.
